Dr. Michela Febbraro is a medical oncologist at the Algoma District Cancer Program (ADCP) in Sault Ste. Marie and Assistant Professor at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine. She is the clinical trials lead for the breast cancer and lung cancer portfolios at the ADCP. Provincially, she is a member of the Ontario Health(OH)/Cancer Care Ontario (CCO) Lung Drug Advisory Committee and OH/CCO Disease Site Group. Nationally, she is the co-lead for the Canadian Association of Medical Oncology (CAMO) Mentorship Program. Dr. Febbraro received her medical and internal medicine degrees through NOSM University before earning her medical oncology degree at McMaster University. She completed her Lung Cancer Fellowship, and Clinician Investigator Program certifications through the Juravinski Cancer Centre in Hamilton, Ontario. She received her Master of Science in Health Research Methods at McMaster University. Dr. Febbraro’s research interests are in access to care and equity to care along the cancer continuum.
